Girls in Aviation Day
GIAD2023
The Women in Aviation International, South Florida Chapter (soFLy WAI) will be hosting its annual Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) series! Entry will be FREE for all attendees.
Your partnership will allow our chapter to provide this event free of charge for local students that may never have exposure to the aviation and aerospace industries. Additionally, any funding more than our goal will be used towards future community outreach projects and local scholarships.
About GIAD
The GIAD Event is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization from Women in Aviation International dedicated to:
- Encouraging and educating current and future women into an aviation career
- Increasing public awareness of general aviation
- Demonstrating women’s roles in aviation
- Preserving and promoting the tradition of pioneering women in aviation
