Karen Kroeppel is a seasoned professional in the business aviation industry with a wealth of knowledge in marketing, customer experience and event management, and operations management. She has successfully led Fixed Base Operations (FBO) business development initiatives in North and South America, Mexico, Europe, and the Middle East. She has managed FBO start-up teams in Zurich and Paris. Karen is known for effectively coordinating projects and customer advocacy programs and collaborating with service provider experts. Additionally, she has established strong vendor partnerships, driven sales through key collaborations, and supported small businesses with effective event planning and business
development strategies. She has her own business, KRPL Solutions LLC, and collaborates with Xennial Digital, Thrive Consulting, and Wise Trip Management.
Volunteering has played an integral role in Karen’s personal and professional growth. She is a founding SOFLY Women in Aviation International member and is active in organizations such as NBAA, South Florida Business Aviation, and Women in Corporate Aviation. She enjoys participating in Bonafide Therapy Dogs with her beloved Dachshund, EllieMae.

Alyssa’s role in expanding MRO Latin America led to record-breaking attendance, while her innovative addition of a pre-show engine workshop cemented the conference’s essential status. Her legacy is one of expertise, innovation, and transformative contributions to the industry.

Monica Sarduy has nearly 20 years’ experience in sales & marketing across a myriad of industries. She started her career in Enterprise Account Sales for print advertising at the Miami Herald. From there she moved to an in-house Marketing Management position for a medical clinic operating in Coral Gables, FL. Thereafter she continued to manage event marketing for BFG Communications overseeing marquee, high value accounts.
In June 2018, she became the Director of GOA-TECH a digital marketing agency where she and the company created a reachvoters.com sector for local political campaigns. After great success at GOA, in 2021 she was offered a chance to work for X-1FBO and return to her passion: running marketing strategies in-house! And since, she’s been instrumental in helping X-1FBO find its stride.
In addition to being 2023 VP of WAI’s soFLy Chapter, she currently sits on the board for Florida Aviation Business Association and is an active member of South Florida Business Aviation Association.

With an extensive background that spans over 6 years, her expertise lies at the intersection of purchasing and sales functions, enabling her to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the aerospace industry.
Aviation has been her passion ever since she can remember seeing her father in his military pilot uniform and taking her to the airfield with him. This is her motivation and inspiration for the aviation industry as a career and life choice.
Through a combination of strategic vision, comprehensive industry knowledge, and a dedication to excellence, she’s been committed to driving soFLy Southern Tropics success and contributing to the ongoing transformation of the aviation industry.

As the Brand Manager for Fontainebleau Aviation, Alexsandra Camargo oversees marketing, branding, communication, and client experience. With over a decade devoted to aviation, her greatest strengths are her creativity, drive, and leadership.
Ms. Camargo has contributed to the development and implantation of the Fontainebleau Aviation brand. Alexsandra focuses on sustaining Fontainebleau Aviation as the gateway into Miami by magnifying the FBO’s unmatched capabilities. Her success is measured by having the clientele identify themselves with the Fontainebleau brand. Under her leadership, Fontainebleau Aviation has continually been recognized amongst the country’s top 20 rated facilities.
She was recently recognized for client experience excellence amongst industry leaders in the 2020 AIN FBO Survey – under the” Above & Beyond” category. With a background in hospitality, she enjoys engaging with multi-cultural clientele ensuring their satisfaction. While at home, she enjoys quality time with her two daughters, Alessia and Ava.
