The 2025 STEM Series Touches Down for Its Grand Finale at Fontainebleau Aviation

soFLY Southern Tropics of Women in Aviation International is excited to announce the Miami Edition of the 2025 Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) South Florida Series.
Returning to its home base at Fontainebleau Aviation, the official Venue Sponsor, this highly anticipated finale will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10AM to 2PM at Opa-locka Executive Airport.
Students and families from across South Florida are invited to join a day filled with inspiration, exploration, and hands-on discovery.
As the closing event of the three-city 2025 GIAD Series, the Miami Edition will welcome over 500 guests for hands-on experiences including aircraft tours, flight simulators, STEM workshops, and mentorship from aviation and aerospace professionals. Returning to its home base at Fontainebleau Aviation, a premier gateway to Miami and long-time supporter of soFLY, the finale benefits from the collaboration of corporate sponsors, industry partners, and dedicated volunteers, ensuring the series concludes with the energy and excellence that defines soFLY’s mission across South Florida.
The Miami Edition celebrates community collaboration while providing students direct access to careers in aviation, aerospace, and emerging technologies, from engineering and maintenance to flight operations and finance. Part of a global movement reaching over 40,000 youth across 30 countries, this event serves as both a celebration of the year’s accomplishments and a launchpad for the next generation of aviation leaders right here in Miami at Fontainebleau Aviation.
